Dr. Shenghan Lai is a leading Epidemiology Researcher with the Bloomberg School of Health at Johns Hopkins University, Voluntary Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and Visiting Professor at the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine in Beijing, China. Dr. Lai is recognized as an expert in data management and statistical analysis, and world renowned for his research on the effects of HIV infection and cocaine use on subclinical cardiovascular disease.
As Director of the Biostastistics Core within the Donald W. Reynolds Cardiovascular Clinical Research Center at Hopkins, Dr. Lai is implementing data mining tools that will foster cross-study analysis and interpretation for the benefit of all projects within the Reynolds research network.
Dr. Lai received his degrees from Peking Union Medical College in Beijing and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
